Welcome to the Boy Scouts of America

One of my greatest joys in life is having the opportunity to introduce the youth of my community to the treasures and lessons of the outdoors. I have been active in scouting as an adult leader and mentor for the past 15 years. I was given the opportunity to serve as a scoutmaster for Troop 8296 in the Inland Northwest Council in 2014 and have enjoyed every minute. I have been able to teach these boys about leadership, survival skills, citizenship, and how to have fun. We have made some mistakes along the way including skittles Pancakes, Yuck! We have also gone on great adventures kayaking, sleeping in snow forts, biking the Hiawatha, and jumping in Lake Pend O’Reille in May. I receive more than I give in serving the youth of our community through the Boy Scouts of America.
